Handball

Handball is a fast-paced team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six field players and one goalkeeper) compete to score goals by throwing a ball into the opposing team’s net. The game is played on a rectangular court, and players use their hands to pass, dribble, and shoot the ball. The objective is to score more goals than the opposing team within a specified time limit, typically two halves of 30 minutes each. Handball emphasizes agility, teamwork, and strategic play, and it is played both indoors and outdoors. The sport is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF), which sets the rules and organizes international competitions, including the Handball World Championships and the Olympic Games. Handball is popular in many countries, particularly in Europe, where it has a strong professional league system and a considerable following.
