Russell Westbrook

Russell Westbrook is an American professional basketball player known for his explosive athleticism, playmaking ability, and competitive nature. He was born on November 12, 1988, in Long Beach, California. Westbrook played college basketball at UCLA before being selected as the fourth overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Seattle SuperSonics, which later became the Oklahoma City Thunder. He gained prominence as a key player for the Thunder, where he formed a strong duo with star forward Kevin Durant.

Westbrook is notable for his triple-double performances, having averaged a triple-double (double-digit numbers in three statistical categories such as points, rebounds, and assists) over an entire season, a feat he accomplished during the 2016-2017 NBA season.
